We are seeking a skilled Precast Erection Engineer/Supervisor to join our team, specializing in overseeing the installation of precast elements for residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed erection plans and schedules for precast concrete elements based on project requirements and site conditions.
Coordinate closely with subcontractors, logistics providers, and traffic management teams to ensure smooth execution of precast element installations.
2. Supervision and Team Management:
Directly supervise subcontractors and construction crews during precast erection activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
Act as the main point of contact and liaison between the on-site installation team and the precast factory to facilitate efficient communication and resolve any technical issues promptly.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that precast elements are installed correctly according to design specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience (4 years+) in precast concrete construction and erection, with a focus on residential projects.
Strong knowledge of precast concrete construction techniques, including installation methodologies, temporary bracing systems, and connection methods.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources
effectively, and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the construction industry.
Familiarity with traffic management and logistics coordination for construction sites.
Certification in Construction Management or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
Proficiency in using construction management software and tools for scheduling and documentation
