What you'll do

Oversee experience design projects and programs that influence positive change/impact across one more adjacent product teamsBuild wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using best in class UI frameworks, and design systems to tackle difficult UX problemsPartner closely with cross-functional partners to build strategic and impactful experience roadmapsFacilitate design workshops, critiques, and co-creation sessions that focus stakeholders on solving the underlying root causes of user/customer pain points instead of jumping to end-solutionsBe a key stakeholder in building the design team and be sought out by adjacent teams for your obsession with craft quality and domain expertiseOwn design problems end to end, from initial concept through shipping and beyondBuild flows and prototypes to tackle difficult UX problemsObsess over the details of visual and motion designWork with product managers to define products (requirements, strategic functionality, bold bets), not just translate them into design execution.Identify future opportunities, working as a key thought partner to your counterparts in product, engineering, and operationsPartner with engineers to ship pixel-perfect designsThe ship, measure and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedbackBrainstorm and iterate with your colleagues to help raise the bar on the whole experience

What you'll need

7+ years of UI/UX design experienceA portfolio showing your high-quality, thoughtful UI and UX workA degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or related fields (B.Des, M.Des etc)Strategic product thinker with the ability to understand product goals, identify opportunities and make decisions based on the impact on people and the companyInteraction design experience with the ability to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs. Ability to use prototyping skills to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will workExperience with a breadth of design disciplines - design thinking, applied service design, user experience research, and beyondMust know - Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lottie files, Prototyping and deep understanding of components, design systemsMust have experience with designing 0-1 products and scaling themMust have understanding of visual and motion graphics to work with visual & motion designers to incorporate the requirements in the design processMust have worked with small to medium sized teams in fast paced environmentVisual design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic senseGood to have - Worked directly with Startup founders or executives to bring ideas to real-life. Fintech experience is a plus.
