Core ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Networks are responsible for managing Sky’s data centres, campuses, contact centres and elements of our broadcast network, primarily in the UK and in many locations across the world.
As a member of a large team providing continued support to sky’s critical business and customer facing systems your roles and responsibilities will include :Triage of network incidentsNetwork monitoring and analysisProvision of effective and efficient support to the infrastructure servicesBuilding relationships with all technology teamsCollaborative troubleshooting with support teams from across SkyInteraction with Change Management for Planned worksTesting; Operational Readiness, Service Migration and FailoverAdherence to support processes and proceduresEmployees at all levels are expected to:To be successful in this role the candidate requires a minimum of 3 years experience in working with network technologies and be qualified to Cisco CCNA level as a minimum, Cisco CCNP desirable.
The candidate should have experience of the following –
Routing/switching infrastructure with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS knowledge preferred, Cisco ACI and Arista knowledge desirable.Load balancing infrastructure, F5 networks knowledge preferred.Firewall infrastructure, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto networks knowledge preferred.Network Management platform experience with Solarwinds knowledge preferred, SevOne, Cisco Prime and Cisco DNA knowledge desirable.Scripting and automation skills desirable.

Excellent problem solving skill with ability to assimilate information from many sources and resolve issues.Meticulous attention to detail with ability to raise and execute changes first time without issues.Excellent relationship management by establishing a rapport and trust with internal customers and other IT teams.
