Job Overview :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js Backend Developer to join our growing development team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Responsibilities :

1. Server-Side Development :

- Develop robust server-side logic using Node.js for web applications.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

2. API Development :

- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend functionalities.

- Work closely with frontend and other backend developers to ensure API compatibility and efficiency.

3. Database Management :

-Optimize database interactions for maximum performance and responsiveness.

- Collaborate with database administrators to design and implement efficient database schemas.

4. Code Optimization :

- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency.

5. Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

6. Testing and Debugging :

- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software meets specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

7. Security Implementation :

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Ensure the application is compliant with security standards and best practices.

8. Continuous Learning :

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js and backend development.

- Actively participate in knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team.

Qualifications :

1. Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Experience :

- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with a focus on backend development.

- Familiarity with frontend technologies is a plus.

3. Skills :

- Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js.

- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in Node.js.

4. Communication :

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

5. Problem-Solving :

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
