Job Overview


The Senior Full Stack Engineer has proven work experience with strong analytical skills to collect, organize, and translate business requirements into solution designs and technical implementation. This person must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. He/she must be self-motivated, results oriented, and a great communicator. This person is also adept at analyzing, design spec writing, and comfortable presenting findings to the user communities being supported.


Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design and develop software solutions that are scalable on the Microsoft Cloud Stack, utilizing a range of Azure Services This includes leveraging Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Service Bus, Function Apps, Azure SQL, and non-SQL databases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Maintain and enhance existing software solutions

• Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

• Work with stakeholders and designers to develop user friendly and intuitive web applications for SAAS platform

• Participate in requirements gathering, technical specification, design, and development of software for customer facing applications

• Promote software engineering best practices


Qualifications 


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience delivering commercial cloud-based software applications with rich UIs that scale gracefully across different browsers and devices

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to write clean maintainable code

• Experience as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle

• Expertise in React frameworks 

• Solid experience with OData and NoSQL

• Experience in cloud-based development using Azure Services including function applications

• Experience with Message Queuing frameworks such as Azure Service Bus.

• Experience working with geographically dispersed software development teams

• Solid knowledge of modern software technologies and practices including microservices, CI/CD, and container-based technologies

• Expert knowledge of REST API development

• Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Stack, including Azure Devops, Azure services and Azure SQL. 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as nodejs.

• Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide solution, guidance, and instruction to Jr Developers.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to proactively plan, organize, and deliver with limited oversight, prioritize, and quickly adapt to changing situations.

• Experience in deploy backend and frontend applications into the Azure cloud environment.
