Role + Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites
  • Familiar with popular WordPress plugins (ACF, Yoast, Contact Form 7, etc.)
  • Customize themes and create custom plugins as needed
  • Work closely with designers to bring mockups to life
  • Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for performance
  • Troubleshoot and debug website issues
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress features and best practices
  • Collaborate with team members across design and development

Person Specification and Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with WordPress
  • Solid understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and CMS structure
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Basic experience with MySQL and cPanel/Hosting
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiar with popular WordPress plugins (ACF, Yoast, Contact Form 7, etc.)

Plus Points (Nice-to-Have)

  • Basic understanding of TypeScript
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, Vercel)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Understanding of basic CI/CD concepts
