History Teacher

Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - History and Political Science
Location : Sarjapura, Bangalore
Responsibilities:
Prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in History and Political Science for secondary and higher secondary classes, aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement, critical thinking, and active participation.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student understanding.
Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
Stay updated with current events, historical developments, and political trends to enrich classroom discussions and activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate History and Political Science with other subjects.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events as required.
Contribute to the overall academic and co-curricular program of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications:
Masters in History, Political Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification from a recognized institution.
Previous teaching experience in History and Political Science at the secondary or higher secondary level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
