BI Specialist

Job Description This is a remote position. Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSAS Tabular Models, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Notebooks and Azure Data Lake along with a solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities · Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.· Develop and optimize Gen2 Dataflows for efficient data transformation and ingestion.· Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Synapse.· Build and maintain SSAS Tabular Cubes for advanced analytics and reporting.· Develop semantic models for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments.· Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.· Implement best practices for data lake architecture, partitioning, and security.· Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure compliance with governance standards.· Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI integrated with Fabric.· Enable self-service BI capabilities for business users.· Monitor ETL workflows, cube processing, and query performance.· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues proactively.· OAC experience will add an advantage.  Requirements Required Skills & Experience · Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.· Hands on experience on writing Synapse Notebooks.· Proficiency in SSAS Tabular Models and DAX.· Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Gen2 Dataflows.· Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling.· Knowledge of Power BI development and deployment.· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions.· Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Qualifications · Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Power BI, or Fabric.· Experience in large-scale enterprise BI environments. Requirements Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) Learning Management System, including course creation, user management, certifications, and reporting. Support modules across Learning, Performance, Succession Planning, and Recruiting within the Talent Management suite. Configure and manage system workflows, notifications, permissions, and integrations. Partner with HR, L&D, and business units to identify learning needs and translate them into scalable LMS solutions. Create and manage dashboards, custom reports, and data exports for compliance and performance tracking. Troubleshoot user and system issues, liaising with Cornerstone support when needed. Assist in the rollout of global learning initiatives and change management strategies. Conduct user training and provide ongoing system support and documentation. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across talent management modules. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cornerstone OnDemand LMS, particularly the Learning module. Experience with additional CSOD modules (e.g., Performance, Succession, Recruiting) preferred. Proficiency in report building (standard and custom) and system configuration. Strong understanding of Talent Management best practices. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
