As a Shipping and Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing daily shipping activities and planning processes. The primary objective is to ensure meticulous compliance with local regulations, maintain precise documentation, and facilitate on-time shipments, with optimum resource utilization and high operational efficiency.
Job Profile
Ensures all day-to-day Shipping activities are in compliance with the Missionpharma Rules, SOP’s, and local regulations.
Timely review & submission of documents related to import and exports to DC office, Customs or Port Officials.
Maintaining records of customer orders, complaints & feedback
Maintain up-to-date repository of regulatory information including Customs, GST, SEZ rules and keep management informed about the changes.
Processing the bills issued by local forwarders, CHAs and shipping lines to ensure accuracy and uniqueness.
Planning of incoming material, packing and shipping based on availability of warehouse space and resources.
Ensure that right packing material is purchased as per procedure and arranged within required time frame.
Handling the administration work in an efficient manner.
Coordinating with various departments of the organization.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within shipping and planning activities.
Implement measures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of operations.
Responsible for training and development of Shipping staff.
Any other duties or assignments as requested by the General Manager – India.
Professional competences required:
· Preferably + 5 years experience in administrative function in commercial working environment of a larger organization preferably in a reputed GMP or GDP certified pharmaceutical company
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
· Good knowledge of ERP-preferably AX
· Comprehensive knowledge of global logistics, gained through experience in large manufacturing or logistics organisations.
· Excellent analytical skills with ability to maintain vast data related to inventory and shipping operations
Personal competences required:
· Excellent English and Hindi communication skills (Oral and written).
· Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and communication
· Good administrative and negotiation skills
· Ability to build and nurture positive working relationships with colleagues in an international and multicultural environment
