Our team integrates mechanical, electronic, and optical systems into compact, high-performance devices. We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to bring mechanical concepts to life through accurate, manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design enclosures, mounts, and housings for compact multi-component hardware.
  • Incorporate mounting points, ventilation, cable routing, and weight optimization into designs.
  • Prepare STEP, DXF, and annotated drawings for prototyping and manufacturing.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs meet mechanical, thermal, and assembly requirements.
  • Iterate designs based on testing feedback to achieve reliable and robust builds.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • 2+ years of CAD design experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Strong skills in dimensioning, tolerancing, and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced prototyping cycles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with compact electronics enclosure design.
  • Familiarity with thermal management and vibration isolation in hardware.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
