What you'll do

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents as well as conducting post-incident analysis.
  • Detect and respond to threats in network environments.
  • Use Splunk and other SIEM tools to identify potential security incidents, create incident reports, and provide an initial assessment of the incident's impact.
  • Coordinate response efforts and help remediate identified threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Standardize and automate incident response functions and workflows.
  • Enhance and maintain playbooks and other documentation for incident response activities.

What you bring

  • Experience in a Security Incident Response role or a similar position.
  • Excellent understanding of computer networking and common internet protocols.
  • Proficient with Splunk and other SIEM tools.
  • Familiarity with different types of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, evasion techniques, attack vectors, tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts in simple terms.
  • Flexibility to adjust to different time zones and working hours as per the requirement.
  • General understanding of SAP corporate, its functions, and processes.
  • 8+ years of experience and Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience working in a Security Incident Responder role.
  • Any additional industry-relevant certifications (like GCIH, ECIH, CISSP, etc.) would be a plus.
