As you can imagine, this means that we have a vibrant and diverse mix of skills and people making Kagool a great place to work.Your place in the teamAs a BI Analytics Developer your role will be to assist in the planning, design, development, testing and implementation of complex analytics solutions including reports, visualizations, dashboards, database(s) for various domains as well as the support and maintenance of existing solutions.Responsibilities- To design, implement, maintain, support, and enhance the business intelligence solutions- Understand and be confident working with data modelling and BI solutions ensuring best practices are always followed- Querying, extracting and quality assuring data from source systems- Collaborate and work with other teams and end users to ensure that data and reports meet their business needs- Design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems, ensuring reports are accurate and up to date.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experienceEssential Experience- Experience working with data warehouses, data modelling techniques, security- Experience working on extensive data modelling creating OLAP cubes (SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and Tabular models)- Experience with Azure Technologies especially Azure Analysis Services creating tabular models and writing complex DAX queries- Previous experience of working within Cloud Services, specifically within Azure environment including SQL Databases and Power BI Services- Experience using SQL for wide range of data solutions- Experience with ETL (Extracting, Transforming and Loading) tools- Experience building solutions across Azure, including Power BI solutions using Power Query and DAX- This role requires a solid grasp of relational data sources and Azure components, such as Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Bricks- The successful candidate will have designed and built enterprise-wide Power BI and QlikView applications previously- Strong coding skills and experience in Python, T-SQL, QlikView and REST APIs with an understanding of Machine Learning- Delivering key metrics and managing secure access to data sets for the business- Helping users understand data issues, tracing back data lineage and advising on technical futureproofing- Experience mentoring team members to enhance reporting output and analytical capability- Build reports based on large datasets- Experience in Power BI Integration and deployment- Extensive experience with Power BI development and delivery: advanced coding, repeatable frameworks, visualization design, performance optimization- Have strong presentation skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation.- Experience of working with key stakeholders to understand and deliver to project and client requirements- Strong Interpersonal skills- Strong problem solving, time management and organisational skills- Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/Methodologies.Preferred Experience- 4+ years of Relevant Experience- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, etc- Experience with manufacturing and retail domains- Master's degree in computer science or Statistics- Project Management skills- Track record and understanding of KPI/ Metric principles- Previous experience of working in a technical analyst role.Tools & Technologies- Azure Cloud – Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Analysis Services, Networking & Security- ETL Tools – SSIS (Server Services like Integration Services) / BODS or DataStage or Informatica- Databases – Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2 or SAP HANA- Warehouse – SAP BW, Teradata, SQL- DWH or Netezza- Programming – R, Python, PowerShell, Batch or Perl- Code & Issue Management - GIT / Bitbucket / TFS (Team Foundation Server), Jira / Azure DevOps, Bamboo / Jenkins- Data Modelling – SSAS, Analysis Services Multidimensional and Tabular Models- Productivity - MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Text Editors, MS Teams & OneNote, MS Outlook & SharePointCareer at KagoolA career at Kagool will give you a path towards progression and opportunities, with the current rate of growth we at Kagool have dedicated time towards individual growth, recognizing individual contributions, filling the team with a strong sense of purpose along with providing a fun, flexible and friendly work environment.
