Role ObjectiveSupporting the Technology Sourcing team in the delivery and management of procurement activities may include the following activities:Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs of work and key suppliersPro-actively manage contract and license renewalsBuild and foster collaborative working relationships with Data Office and Service Line leaders and other internal business partnersSupporting and leading stakeholders through the Onboarding of External Data end-to-end process.Socialization and facilitation of the Procurement policy and processes, ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the value of the policy and adhere to it accordinglyTimely and frequent submission of management information, including project status and savings reportingSupport for the Technology Sourcing team in developing a strategy which adheres to the overall global technology strategy while supporting local engagements as wellFacilitation of any needed market research to identify potential suppliers, ensure competitive pricing and terms, etc.
Responsibilities:The External Data Senior Associate reports into a Client Technology Sourcing Leader within the Client Technology Sourcing team and is responsible for sourcing strategy and execution, stakeholder engagement and experience, and vendor management in line with the Global Procurement Policy and processes.The role of the External Data Senior Associate may include:Lead negotiations with vendors on pricing, license rights and other commercial terms for complex external data transactions in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures.Draft and negotiate contract documents, working with general counsel as needed and required.Negotiate amendments and additional rights, as needed, throughout the contract lifecycle. Act as liaison between the vendor and stakeholder.Work closely with key internal teams to minimize risk to the organization and comply with all requisite policies and procedures, before and during all contract negotiations.Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships on an ongoing basis.Contribute effectively towards quantitative and qualitative targets.Maintain all required documentation and reports in accordance with External Data and overall Supply Chain Services processes.Understand the marketplace for external data suppliers and services.Assist Stakeholder groups with interpretation of license rights, with support of general counsel, as needed.Actively develop and promote the use of innovative solutions with data such as RPA, analytics and other emerging technologies.

Education :Business degree or equivalent
Other requirements:3+ years of proven experience in procurement/external data sourcingExcellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business EnglishExperience working in a truly global, culturally diverse organizationExperience with Ariba (helpful, but not required)
