About the Role (Job location - Bangalore)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that efficiently move, transform, and load data from various sources to data storage solutions in the cloud.

- Cloud Infrastructure: Set up and manage cloud infrastructure for data processing and storage, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Data Modelling: Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and structures to support data analytics and reporting requirements.

- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Create and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and timeliness.

- Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and external data feeds.

- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Data Security: Implement data security measures, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, to protect sensitive information.

- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, data lineage, and best practices.

- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software developers to ensure data solutions meet business requirements

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in cloud-based data engineering.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including relevant services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow).

- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and transformation.

- Expertise in data modelling, SQL, and database technologies (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL databases).

- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Apache Beam).

- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Technical certifications will be plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
