Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure that powers Swarmauri's innovative AI solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of the systems that support the development and deployment of AI models. The ideal candidate will have experience in BGP routing, VPN solutions, firewalls, IP planning, VLAN configurations, and advanced networking technologies such as reverse proxies, forward proxies, DNS management, high availability (HA), load balancing, and tunneling.


At Swarmauri, the Network Engineer will contribute directly to the efficiency of our platform, enabling fast, secure, and robust AI model deployment. The position is critical to maintaining the performance and security of the infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge AI and data solutions.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement network architectures, including IP addressing schemes, VLAN segmentation, and routing protocols.
  • Configure and maintain reverse proxies and forward proxies to enhance traffic flow and network security.
  • Manage and maintain DNS systems to ensure seamless resolution, redundancy, and network performance.
  • Implement and oversee high availability (HA) solutions to ensure fault tolerance for critical network services.
  • Configure and maintain load balancing technologies to distribute network traffic efficiently, improving system performance and reliability.
  • Design, configure, and manage tunneling protocols (e.g., GRE, IPsec) to provide secure communication between sites and remote access solutions.
  • Implement and manage BGP routing to optimize traffic flow across multiple ISPs and internal networks.
  • Configure and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access and site-to-site connections.
  • Manage and configure firewalls to protect against external threats and enforce internal security policies.
  • Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues related to proxies, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, IP plans, VLAN setups, and routing protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT and AI teams to assess and implement scalable, secure networking solutions for new and ongoing projects.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and failover planning to ensure high availability and business continuity for network services.


Required Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications : Relevant networking certifications (e.g., networking, security, or administration certifications).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing reverse and forward proxies .
  • Expertise in DNS management and high availability (HA) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with load balancing technologies.
  • Extensive experience with BGP routing , VPN solutions, and tunneling protocols .
  • Experience with firewall configuration and security policy management.
  • Strong knowledge of VLANs , IP addressing , subnetting , and routing protocols.


Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) for managing network configurations.
  • Experience with cloud-based networking and load balancing solutions.
  • Knowledge of advanced WAN technologies, including MPLS.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex network issues.


Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented and methodical approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
