Position SummaryA Senior Consultant is responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of performance management solutions to meet the client's business and technical requirements. In this role, the Senior Consultant acts as the primary technical contact with full ownership of the relationship between OpenSymmetry and our clients from a technical perspective. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our client base within India and the APAC region.Responsibilities in this role also include supporting and troubleshooting solutions for customers in a live production environment. Additionally, you may also work within the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Sr. Consultants will work as mentors to junior team members while carrying out the tasks to perform investigations, root cause analysis, and defect resolution for our array of clientele.This position at OpenSymmetry is an outstanding career with endless potential. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to work with OpenSymmetry's own experts in the field, sharing knowledge and working together a team.Job ObjectivesThe ideal candidate will be able to:Demonstrate a strong working knowledge in the configuration of Varicent Software to specific Business RequirementsEasily navigate complex customer models and provide guidance to customers and OS consultantsProvide accurate effort hour estimates for defect remediationProvide key information to delivery teams regarding scope of new work and corresponding effort hour estimatesDevelop requirements & design documentationShare expertise with colleague / team membersApproach a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and consider each part in detail, inclusive of identifying upstream and downstream impactsDirect others on operational support tasksCreate operational process documentation in support of SOWDemonstrate deep knowledge of practice specific concepts and best practices (such as SPM, incentive compensation, HCM, CPQ, etc.)Understand when and how to switch to a different strategy when an initially selected one is unsuccessfulMonitor progress and put effort in where is most neededAssist with creation of project work plan including sequencing of tasks, migration and implementation documentation

RequirementsNice to Have SkillsBachelor's degree or higher / equivalent work experience5-7 Years of experience in Varicent toolPrior technical consulting experienceSales Compensation Experience strongly preferredAdvanced skillsets in Excel / Spreadsheet softwareExperience with SQLSuperior communication skills including writing, listening and speaking
