Location: Hyderabad
Notice Period – Immediate or 15 days maximum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Dagster or Apache Airflow.
• Work with various databases including PostgresDB, TimescaleDB, DuckDB, and InfluxDB to store, retrieve, and process data.
• Handle data streaming with Kafka to process real-time data.
• Work with Databricks for advanced data analytics and pipeline management.
• Manage and optimize Delta Lake for efficient storage, versioning, and data consistency.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Monitor data pipelines for performance, integrity, and scalability, and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster or Apache Airflow.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Solid experience with PostgresDB, TimescaleDB, DuckDB, and InfluxDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake for data processing and storage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with data versioning and data governance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience as Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
