Proposal Writer & Content EditorWe are looking for a skilled proposal writer & editor to draft compelling and tailored proposal responses. The candidate should be able to draft or customize persuasive messages that highlight the benefits, features and differentiators of the company’s proposed solutions and address the client’s stated and unstated requirements. The candidate would also need write technical solutions based on discussions/interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and edit existing content to tailor it to the requirements at hand. The role also requires the person to own the content for any given proposal, to create a content plan, liaise with SMEs and Solution Architects to fully comprehend our solution/capabilities to be able to articulate it a befitting manner with key messages being highlighted. The person would also need to stich responses received from various departments and edit them to a singular mode of articulation editing the sentence constructions, voice, tone, vocabulary etc. to portray a clear single messaging

Responsibilities:· Create a clear content plan for the proposal including guidance notes to authors of various sections (SMEs) on what needs to be included in the proposal.· Understand client requirements completely to be able to create a content plan and issue guidance to authors.· Write technical content articulating our solutions/capabilities by interacting with Solution Architects / practice lead and SMEs· Curate or tailor proposal responses received from SMEs to ensure they are compliant and responsive to the client submission requirements also clear, concise and compelling for ease of evaluation. The output proposal document should be singular in its articulation i.e. sentence constructions, voice, tone, vocabulary etc. to portray a clear single messaging· Participate in bid meetings to understand opportunity overview, proposal strategy, proposed solutions, capabilities to be included·Co-author for new solutions/propositions or GTM strategies in new sectors, geographies, and services by collaborating with the Presales team, SMEs, Solution Architects and other stakeholders·Take complete ownership of drafting and finalizing the responses for standard generic questions· Collaborate with the visual designers to create tailored visuals for every opportunity, highlighting the key messages· Work closely with the bid manager and adhere to the proposal schedule, milestones and deadlines·Ensure that the proposals meet the standards of quality, accuracy, completeness and consistency·Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously and meeting the deadlines and deliverables·Support in development of content for orals, site visits, client sessions, workshops, etc.·Support the Knowledge Management team in keeping the KM repository up to date

Desired candidate profile

· Bachelor's degree· Minimum 7+ years’ experience in proposal/content editing and writing·Experience in the BPS industry and Presales processes·Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment·Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills·English language fluency both verbal and written·Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs
