
Quality Controller

The Quality Controller ensures that products meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they reach the customer. This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring processes to identify defects, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods against quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to identify deviations and ensure consistency.
- Document inspection results, maintain records, and prepare quality reports.
- Work with production teams to address defects, non-conformities, and process issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize recurring issues.
- Train workers and supervisors on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
- Conduct audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quality control standards, testing methods, and inspection tools.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with AQL standards or other industry-specific certifications (advantage).
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Quality Management or related field.
- Prior experience in quality control/assurance within manufacturing, textiles or related industry.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies preferred.
Work Environment
- Factory floor and warehouse inspections.
- May require flexible shifts depending on production schedules.
- Interaction with production, procurement, and management teams.
Work Experience
- 5-7 Yrs in related field.
