Data Analyst III

The RealPage Investment Management group is hiring a Data Analyst III to join our Data Collection Services (DCS) team. You will work alongside other team members in Implementations, Product Management, and Engineering when needed to investigate and resolve data quality issues on behalf of our clients. The DCS team assists with the implementation of RealPage’s Asset and Investment Management (AIM) application and processing monthly data, such as financial and operational information, received from outside sources. The team onboards and trains operating partners in the process of submitting data and works with partners to resolve data quality issues. Our business is fast-paced and time-sensitive to meet reporting deadlines for our customers.
The DCS Data Analyst III will perform implementation tasks, onboard and communicate with operating partners, and support ongoing data collection and data validation processes associated with the Asset & Investment Management (AIM) application used by our clients. This position requires attention to detail with strong troubleshooting skills, along with project management skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will be asked to communicate with clients and internal teams to foster a collaborative environment. To succeed in this role, you should have a naturally analytical mindset and be able to analyze various datasets to identify data quality issues and be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with external data providers and operating partners to coordinate the submission, validation, and aggregation of data on behalf of clients Train external data providers on the process of using our application to submit data Conduct periodic reconciliations to source data records to ensure accuracy and compliance with defined business rules Leverage real estate business knowledge to develop and manage systematic and data validation processes with a focus on data quality Demonstrate initiative and reflect a sense of urgency in daily duties to meet deadlines Work closely with clients, leadership, and other functional teams within AIM to understand client needs and establish best practices Act as a point of contact and escalation for clients and third-party information providers Provide written and verbal responses to client inquires, resolution of service delivery issues and routine status updatesREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience with real estate accounting and/or Real Estate systems is preferred but not required (e.g., RealPage, Yardi, MRI, Anaplan, Argus Enterprise) Advanced experience using MS Excel Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are a must Experience in data analytics and reporting, market trends/analysis, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication to customers and internal teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting regular deadlines Demonstrated ability to work independently, and take initiative Flexibility to work overtime hours (nights and weekends) when required A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, or a similar field Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience in financial reporting is preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.-
