Summary of Responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional analyst who ispassionate about raising the performance bar, who can work closely withmultiple stakeholders in different geographies, and who has the ability todrive new innovations in the customer service industry to join us as ForecastAnalyst, Worldwide Capacity Planning team. The ideal candidate will possessboth an analytical background that enables him/her to manage a global networkplanning, and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically aboutcustomer service initiatives. She/he will experience a wide range ofproblem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use ofdata collection and analysis.
The successful candidate will work with multiple business teams, Program Management, CSOperations, Global Outsourcing, and Finance leadership. He/she will:
Develop Long term and Short-term forecasts for staffing customer service associates for Amazon Customer Service network. Develop forecasting models that capture the dynamics of retail and digital e-commerce businesses. Led critical projects to improve planning and forecasting efficiency for the WW CS network. Improve accuracy of the forecast by identifying, measuring, and managing key metrics related to customer service. Be part of global customer service initiatives and project rollouts to cater to growing business needs. Coordinate with internal and outsourcing network operation teams to meet business service levels. Promote process improvement and standardization of processes and align the same with WW processes and practices.Qualification & Skills Required
·Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, stats)required.
· 5+ years of related work experience.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable in dealing with large amountsof data.
· Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment bycombining analytical rigor and judgment.
· Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, enthusiasm to drivepositive change and persuasive ability.
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (ability to presentdetailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly.
· Expertise in Process Improvement in Demand Planning and Forecasting Processesincluding process automation.
Preferred Qualification
·Masters in the quantitative field of Business Administration are highly preferred.
· Experience in operations/supply chain management role will be an addedadvantage.
· Analytics experience with development of forecasting models is preferred inretail, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
· Experience working with various forecasting tools in standard ERP or opensource tools such as R & Python or packaged tools such as ForecastPro etc.
· Experience working with SQL, Python, VBA, and R.
· Lean-Six Sigma BB.
