Job Summary.

We are seeking an experienced and proficient Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 3) specializing in backend .NET development to join our growing team. As an SDE 3, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend solutions using the .NET framework. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities.

Design and Development:

- Architect, design, and develop backend services, APIs, and components using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.- Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to ensure optimal performance and scalability of backend systems.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

System Architecture:

- Collaborate with system architects and technical leads to define the architecture and design of backend systems.- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals and requirements.- Ensure adherence to architectural principles and design patterns in the development process.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:

- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize backend code and database queries to improve application performance.- Debug and troubleshoot issues in production environments and implement timely and effective solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.- Propose and implement process improvements, tools, and automation to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.

Qualifications.

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.2. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in backend .NET development, with a strong focus on C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.3. In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.4. Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases, including database design, optimization, and querying.5. Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.8. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
