Job Description :


- Generate comprehensive cloud recommendations reports leveraging Azure tools to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings within our Azure environment.

- Conduct thorough reviews of cloud recommendations reports, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, and providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

- Develop implementation schedules for executing cloud optimization recommendations, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and sequence initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with application teams to implement cloud right sizing recommendations, optimizing resource utilization and improving cost efficiency while ensuring performance.

- Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through emails, calls, and meetings to communicate cloud optimization strategies, gather feedback, and drive alignment on implementation efforts.

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive tracker to monitor the progress of cloud optimization initiatives, tracking key metrics and milestones to ensure timely and successful execution.

- Take a hands-on approach to implementing cloud optimization recommendations, provisioning cloud resources, scripting automation tasks, and optimizing workloads for performance and cost.

- Provide senior-level support in resolving P1/P2 incidents related to cloud infrastructure, leveraging your expertise to troubleshoot issues, mitigate risks, and ensure service continuity.

- 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering or related roles, with a strong track record of optimizing cloud infrastructure and driving cost savings.

- Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services and tools, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security concepts.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) tasks, with experience in scripting complex workflows and automation processes.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM principles and practices, particularly in incident management and service delivery processes, would be considered an advantage.
