Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications using .NET technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, C#, EF6, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, SQL Server.
  • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and GDPR compliant code.
  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high-quality and high-performing standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C# and ASP.NET).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, or a related field.
  • You feel comfortable working by yourself in a remote setting.
  • You can start within 1-2 months time.
  • Good communication skills in English and the ability to understand business requirements.
  • Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL Server), including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, database functions, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • When refactoring pieces of code, you prefer to refactor in smaller steps to keep the code error free.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with your Q&A analyst.
  • You are able to write fast-performing code based on a perfect understanding of when you need to use cache and when this would be a huge problem.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional):

  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • You like to experiment with AI to implement new features.
