Job Role : Kubernetes AdminExperience Required: 8 to 12 YrsLocation : ChennaiJD:-

Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, like pods, services, deployments, and stateful sets-

K8S installation including design and deployment of the K8s clusters using Manual or Rancher.-

Experience with container runtimes like Docker, containerd and crio.-

Maintenance Activity on K8S nodes .-

Certificate renewal process.-

Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins, ingress controllers, and service meshes.-

Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.-

Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and managing alerts of Kubernetes clusters.-

Understanding of Kubernetes security best practices, like RBAC, network, and pod security policies.-

Knowledge of DNS, Network management in K8s clusters-

K8S Cluster Scale up process and Cluster version upgrade process-

Knowledge of Namespace Creation and Quota management-

Knowledge of K8S pod deployment, deployment of deployment YAML file-

Monitoring tool integration like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Zabbix, BMC any others Docker / Docker Swarm-

Sound knowledge of Docker, Docker registry, Docker network, Overlay, Docker commands.-

Knowledge of Installing, deploying, and configuring Docker standalone.-

Good understanding of Dockerfile-

Should have good hand on Docker Swarm cluster creation.-

Docker Swarm administration, managing a cluster of Docker engines using the Docker platform-

Managing nodes: Promote or demote a node to the manager or worker role. Can promote a worker node to the manager role if a manager node is unavailable or needs to be taken offline for maintenance.-

Maintenance activity on Docker Swarm clusters.-

Scaling Up and Down Docker Swarm node.-

Knowledge of application deployment on Docker Swarm.
