We are hiring for an experienced and hardworking Engineer/Sr. Engineer – Production Planning and Control for our Solar products manufacturing line up, having good knowledge and understanding of the Solar Inverters, Batteries, and related electronics manufacturing process and assembly line. This role will be responsible for Daily FG planning, Dispatch and inventory management and control for the production. The desired candidate will work towards identifying production inefficiencies and implementing process improvements. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining Quality Control and optimizing inventory storage for Raw materials and finished goods.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed Production schedules for Solar Products like solar batteries, Inverters, and electronics assembly and manufacturing lineup.
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources for the production and assembly line.
- Monitor production progress and Monthly Finished Goods Planning with the manufacturing plant.
- Day-wise FG planning for our Solar Products like Solar Inverters, batteries, chargers, and other electronics from the manufacturing plant and assembly line.
- Analyse production data, follow up daily with production to meet sales urgencies, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
- Daily Production MIS creation for Cell, BMS, Chargers – Plan vs. actual Production Reporting.
- Taking full control of Finished Goods dispatches daily and coordinating with the sales team to get the billing plan.
- Raise Red Flags on a timely basis for any production or raw material availability shortfall.
- Closely coordinate with Purchase, Production, and the Sales Team to resolve queries, if any.
- Liaise with quality control to address any production issues promptly.
Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of shop floor planning and manufacturing of electrical component production line, preferably Solar Batteries, Chargers, Inverters, and related electronic products.
- Good understanding of Solar batteries, charging technologies, energy storage systems, and manufacturing of these related products.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in Production Planning, Inventory Planning, and Inventory control is a must for this role.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or related field is preferred.
