Sales Lead / Business Development Manager – AI ServicesCompany: Datalachemy.aiLocation:Type: Full-time or Contract to HireExperience: 3–10 years (AI / Tech Consulting / B2B Sales)About Datalachemy.aiDatalachemy.ai is an AI and data intelligence startup on a mission to help enterprises turn data into actionable insights through AI, automation, and analytics .We partner with organizations in Biotech, Energy & Utilities, and Financial Services , helping them modernize data infrastructure, automate processes, and unlock decision intelligence.As we scale, we’re looking for a hands-on Sales Lead / Business Development Manager who can drive growth — someone who’s not just selling but building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing deals.About the RoleThis is a high-impact, execution-driven role for someone who thrives in startup environments.You’ll be responsible for building the sales pipeline from scratch , leading client conversations, and crafting powerful presentations that translate AI capabilities into business outcomes.You’ll work closely with the founders and marketing team to shape the GTM strategy, define target accounts, and convert leads into long-term clients.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Pipeline CreationIdentify, research, and engage target accounts across Biotech, Energy/Utilities, and Financial Services .Generate leads through outbound outreach, networking, LinkedIn, partnerships, and events .Create and execute a targeted outreach strategy with personalized messaging and follow-ups.Client Engagement & Sales ExecutionConduct discovery calls to understand client challenges and position Datalachemy.ai’s services effectively.Deliver high-impact presentations and demos that simplify complex AI concepts for business leaders.Build customized proposals and work with delivery teams to design proof-of-concept engagements.Own the end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation to negotiation and closure.Collaboration & StrategyCollaborate with marketing on campaigns, case studies, and lead nurturing workflows.Provide regular feedback to improve service offerings and market positioning .Track pipeline metrics and revenue forecasts in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).Requirements3–10 years of experience in B2B sales or business development , preferably in AI, data analytics, or technology consulting .Proven success in prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with enterprise or mid-market clients.Strong understanding of AI/ML, data analytics, or automation services .Excellent presentation and storytelling skills — must be able to design and deliver engaging decks for executive audiences.Self-starter with a hunter mindset — comfortable working independently, driving outreach, and building relationships from scratch.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Nice to HaveDomain familiarity with Biotech, Energy, or Financial Services industries.Experience selling consulting or custom-built AI solutions .Existing professional network in enterprise innovation or data teams.Ability to create presentation decks using PowerPoint, Google Slides, AI tools or Canva .
