THE JOBThis is a full-time, fully remote role for an AWS Cloud Engineer at Tarlton.io. You’ll work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a global team of engineers, developers, and strategists who are building the cloud backbone for platforms that serve millions of users.As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure that powers our nationwide, high-traffic platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all projects.Your day-to-day will include:Architecting and maintaining AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Cloud Front, Route 53, etc.).Automating deployments, scaling, and infrastructure monitoring.Managing backups, disaster recovery, and multi-cloud redundancy.Implementing and enforcing security best practices across AWS services.Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.Collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.At Tarlton.io, we value independence and accountability. You’ll be trusted with the infrastructure that keeps our platforms online and thriving.WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLEProven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or Dev Ops Engineer.Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, Cloud Watch, VPC, Route 53).Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).Skilled in Linux administration, networking, and security.Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Sys Ops, or Dev Ops Engineer) are a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).WHO WE ARE Tarlton Technologies (Tarlton.io) engineers advanced digital infrastructures that optimize performance, unify ecosystems, and drive scalable growth.
