As part of this mission, the Senior UI/UX Designer will play a key role in crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that enhance the accessibility and usability of our web and mobile applications for healthcare delivery.
Role Overview:
The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing user experiences that make healthcare more accessible and impactful for our users. You will design for web and mobile platforms, ensuring simplicity, usability, and empathy in every interaction. This role requires a proactive approach, with the opportunity to establish design best practices and make a tangible difference in the healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Empathetic Design Creation:2. Design interfaces that address the unique challenges of healthcare users, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for patients, providers, and caregivers.3. Translate complex healthcare processes into simple, intuitive designs that enhance usability and engagement.4. End-to-End Design Process:5. Own the design lifecycle, from user research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, and final implementation for both web and mobile platforms.6. Collaborate with product owners and developers to align design objectives with organizational goals and user needs.7. Prototyping and Testing:8. Develop interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts effectively.9. Conduct usability testing to gather feedback, iterating designs based on insights to improve user experience.10. Design Systems and Consistency:11. Establish and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.12. Create design documentation to streamline communication with stakeholders and developers.13. Insights-Driven Decision Making:14. Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to continuously optimize the design and functionality of digital products.15. Provide actionable recommendations to improve user satisfaction and healthcare outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with expertise in web and mobile applications.- Prior experience designing for healthcare or mission-critical sectors is highly preferred.- Technical Proficiency:- Advanced skills in Figma for design and prototyping (experience with tools like Sketch or Adobe XD is a plus).- Solid understanding of responsive design principles, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards.- Soft Skills:- Exceptional communication skills to present ideas, gather feedback, and advocate for user-centered design.- Self-driven with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.- Portfolio:- A portfolio showcasing impactful design solutions for web and mobile applications, demonstrating your ability to simplify complex workflows and design for diverse user groups.
