Polymer Engineer

What you will do : • Provide timely technical support focused on non-metallics materials selection, usage, troubleshooting, and general guidance, including failure analysis to our Upstream and Downstream Operating sites. • Provide non-metallics materials support for green field capital and brownfield projects. • Lead coating and linings and polymer and composite manufacturing supplier assessment and qualification to support the business needs. • Lead material qualification activities, from identification to deployment, as part of the approval process of new technologies or R&D activities. • Update a core set of discipline-specific engineering and guidance documents that disseminate internal and industry best practices. • Capture lessons learned and best practices to deploy across Operating assets and Projects to maximize the value. Skills and Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: • in Polymer Science or Polymer Technology or Polymer Engineering from a recognized university with CGPA > with no backlogs. • Knowledge of Polymer and Composite Properties, Property Testing and Characterization, and Engineering Polymer Technology is essential. • Minimum qualification requirement – Passed out from 2020 to 2025 Preferred Qualifications/Experiences: • Proven problem-solving ability, and able to work independently as well as part of a project team • Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. • Work shift is normally in the afternoon shift (01:30 pm to 10:30 pm) with flexibility to meet business needs. • Flexibility to travel internationally and support sites remotely as per business needs.
