Job Role:

Business Analyst / EDI Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EDI Specialist with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), particularly in healthcare transactions such as 837, 277CA, TA1, 999 and 275. As a EDI Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless electronic data exchange between our organization and external partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

EDI Implementation and Integration:

Lead the implementation and integration of EDI solutions within our organization's systems and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define EDI requirements, design EDI maps, and configure EDI translators to support various transaction sets including 837, 277CA, TA1, 999 and 275.Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to EDI transactions. Translate business needs into technical specifications and EDI mapping documents, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.EDI Compliance and Standards:

Stay abreast of EDI standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA). Monitor changes in EDI standards and ensure our systems and processes remain compliant with evolving regulations.EDI Testing and Validation:

Develop and execute test plans for EDI transactions, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.EDI Support and Maintenance:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI systems and processes, including monitoring EDI transactions, resolving data discrepancies, and implementing system enhancements and updates as needed. Serve as a subject matter expert on EDI-related inquiries and issues.Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes, mappings, and configurations. Develop training materials and provide training sessions to internal teams on EDI concepts, tools, and best practices.

Job Requirement:

Looking for 5+ Years of Experience in US Health Care Domain specially working on EDI Requirements.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, BTech, MCA, or related field.Proven experience as a EDI Specialist or similar role, with a focus on EDI implementation and support.Strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and protocols, particularly in healthcare transactions (e.g., X12).Experience working with EDI transaction sets

such as 837 (Healthcare Claim), 277CA (Healthcare Claim Acknowledgment), TA1 (Interchange Acknowledgment), 999 and 275 (Patient Information).Proficiency in EDI tools and software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good to have Certification in EDI (e.g., EC-Council Certified EDI Professional, ASC X12 Certified Professional).Experience with healthcare information systems (e.g., Electronic Health Records, Practice Management Systems).Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azzure DevOps) for project management and collaboration.
