Senior Software Development Engineer In Test
candidate with experience in testing and automation framework, REST API/Java and cloud-based applications to join our team in Bangalore Location/Hybrid.You will report to the Senior Manager, QA EngineeringYou will work on a broad spectrum of technologies including the latest and new technologies in the Cloud Data space. You will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test frameworks, and programmes to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools using Java to increase productivity and efficiency. You will play a key role in product delivery with high quality and lead customer success through R&D level support and related engagements.Technology You'll UseCore Java, Rest-based APIs Testing, Cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure/GCP), Automation framework.Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll DoDesign and develop test frameworks, automate tests in JAVA and maintain existing internal QA toolsDesign test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications focusing on specific user stories including test cases for regression of current productsParticipate in an Agile-based development / testing environment, including reviews, testcases/document reviews and planning activitiesParticipate in functional, system, stress, longevity and regression testing activitiesImplement test cases/suites in using tools like TestNG and JUnitGood hands-on with Linux/Unix Operating SystemCollaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentWork with the development team to analyse the bugsCollaborate with engineers to solve complex problems to deliver end-to-end quality in our technology and customer experienceAssist customers and field engineers with troubleshooting issuesWork with the engineering team in an Agile environment in delivering high quality productsOrganise own tasks and take responsibility for progress and completionWhat We'd Like to SeeB.E/B.Tech/MCA. in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline3-6 years of experience in software testing and automation framework developmentExperience with different test automation techniques and developing stable and efficient automation frameworksGood hands-on with Linux/Unix Operating System and ScriptingExperience with REST-based APIs testing, Java and cloud-based applicationsWorking knowledge of JAVA application servers including TomcatFamiliarity with functional and non-functional software requirementsExperience with open-source technologies and knowledge on tools like Rest assured, Java, TestNG, JMeter, Jenkin, and SeleniumKnowledge of databases like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQLWorking knowledge of Unix and Windows OSExperience with Cloud e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI ecosystemExposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containersExposure to Java environments and microservices.Familiar with Agile development lifecycle and practices- CI/CD.Strong troubleshooting and debugging skillsPerks & BenefitsComprehensive health, vision, and wellness benefits (Paid parental leave, adoption benefits, life insurance, disability insurance and 401k plan or international pension/retirement plansFlexible time-off policy and hybrid working practicesTuition reimbursement program to support your and personal growthEquity opportunities and an employee stock purchase program (ESPP)Comprehensive Mental Health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefitWe're guided by our DATA values and we are passionate about building and delivering solutions that accelerate data innovations.
