Experience:3–5 Years Location:Visakhapatnam / Hyderabad Industry:Structural Steel / Construction / Engineering Employment Type:Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experiencedSteel Tekla Modellerwith 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in structural and miscellaneous steel detailing. The ideal candidate must be proficient inTekla Structuresand capable of developing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and BOM reports. Knowledge of international standards such asAISC, BS, and ISis essential. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed3D modelsof structural and miscellaneous steel components using Tekla Structures. Prepareshop drawings ,GA drawings ,erection drawings , andassembly drawings . Generate accurateBill of Materials (BOM)and fabrication/erection reports. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and alignment. Ensure compliance with standards:AISC (USA) ,BS (UK) ,IS (India) , and other relevant codes. Incorporate markups fromredlines, RFIs , and design revisions. Identify and resolvemodel clashes , maintaining model integrity. Maintain properdocumentation, version control , and workflow alignment. Collaborate with detailers and checkers to ensure timely project delivery. Key Skills & Competencies Strong proficiency inTekla Structures(3D modeling, detailing, reports). Solid understanding ofsteel connections , fabrication, and erection processes. Familiarity with international detailing standards:AISC, BS, IS . Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellentattention to detail , analytical skills, and problem-solving ability. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Optional:Experience withAutoCAD , RebarCAD, or other drafting tools. Educational Qualification Diploma or Bachelor's degree inCivil EngineeringorStructural Engineering . Tekla certificationor formal training (preferred but not mandatory).
