Your place in the teamAs a functional consultant you will need to listen to the client needs, understand difficulties with their existing solution, while hearing their motivations for migrating to a new one. The role is a balance of providing technical solutions and meeting and manipulating business requirements.

As an SAP FICO consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations.

Job DescriptionBeing an SAP FICO Senior Consultant should be able to independently lead the module and drive & participate in business requirements workshops, conduct business meetings, system customizing, develop functional specifications, interact with business stakeholders, testing, train business users, master data, go live, support post go live.Lead team and work with them to address customer concerns.Independently handle the accounts/projects either Implementations, Transformation, or support engagements

 

Primary Skills required8-12 years' experience in SAP FI and CO modulesExperience in the

IS-Retail sector.Minimum of 3 full SAP E2E implementation experience with at-least 2 implementations on SAP FICO preferably in a lead roleKnowledge in Record to Report Macro Process (R2R)Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset AccountingAreas in controlling must include Product Costing, COPA, Profit Centre, and Cost Centre Accounting as well as Internal Order Management.Understanding and minimum of

8+ years of working experience on LATAM legal & Statutory localization requirements.Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide).Experience in working with interfaces and integration with third party systemsStrong business process knowledge in accounting, finance and controllingAt least 2 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of ProcessesExperience in conduction workshops and freeze the requirementsExperience in preparation of blueprints and solution documentsExperience in writing functional specificationsKnowledge of LSMW and other migration toolsExperience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deploymentInvolvement with FI integration focuses on other SAP-based ERP modules like SD, MM, HR, PP, and PM.Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.English speaking and Local language to communicate with Local business users and team in different countries.Planning and Co-ordination skills

 

Secondary Skills – PreferredSAP technical experience (Basic to Intermediate level only) - Debugging (Basic Level) Familiar with User-Exits/BADIs and other enhancements availableCapable of working with developer around Reporting, ALE, EDI-Mapping, Interface.Exposure to FSCM, SAP HANA would be an added advantageExposure to other SAP modules is desirable.Additional domain experience will be an advantage.
