In this role you will be expected to –Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data being used for live international deliverables.Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects to help drive global data governance, management and analysis

As a part of the Global Investment Delegated Solutions Data team, you will be required to –Interpret and explain complex data to Data specialists so as to carry everybody along and for purposes of clarity/verification for the daily data entering Data Warehouse and its distribution.Design & Plan business quality checks on the completeness and consistency of data on client holdings, transactions, distributions etc.Design & Plan comprehensive set of processes as possible in order that data problems are not being found at month end when performance reports are being runStakeholder update on data requirements, implementation of approach for identifying and addressing data related challenges and improvements.Conduct regular analysis to ensure that data collected is adequate and matches what was asked for.Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses by connecting with the IT team.Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.Mentoring & coaching a team of Data specialists in their professional career in Investment Data Management space.

What you need to have:Information Systems Management, or a related discipline with a focus on domain i.e. Investment Banking/Asset Management (Middle Office/Back office).Familiarity with designing data models and defining data architecture schema for Investment Banking or Asset Management purposes.Proficiency in data processing and working with data warehouse/big data environments relevant to Investment Banking or Asset Management.Previous in-depth knowledge of relevant Applications, modules and systems used in Investment Banking or Asset Management,Excellent skillset in Reference Database Management System (RDBMS) to ingest, maintain and distribute data for Equity, Fixed Income, Alternatives and other Asset Classes.Proven experience in articulating business requirement and creating relevant artifacts such BRD, FRD & Technical specification document.Exposure to various types of creating test scenarios and conducting tests on big data setProficiency identifying process flow mapping and process redesigning specifically for Investment Banking or Asset Management data.Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira Kanban and Confluence or similar tool is plus.Familiarity with ETL tools for efficiently and accurately importing new data from various external/internal sources, as well as data sourcing and data mapping specifically to Investment data.Strong knowledge of Excel/VBA and demonstrated experience with SQL.Handling complex data setups to navigate and perform root cause analysis on reported discrepancies in the context of Investment Banking or Asset Management.Experience in business process improvement, including conducting data investigations to determine the root cause of data issues.Good analytical and technical abilities as the role would involve ability to spot anomalies and create processes to put control on them.Good communication skills to ensure issues clearly identified and explained to various interested stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary and global teams to ensure goals are met.
