Trainee engineer

The position and the CompanyThe position is that of a TRAINEE attached to Operations Department of an Architectural Metal Works (AMW) manufacturing/contracting company based at South Chittoor, Ernakulam District, Kochi.The training will be for a period of one year, after which the Management may consider the Trainee's absorption in regular service, based on the trainee-level performance and subject to availability of a suitable vacancy at the end of the training period.An all-inclusive monthly stipend ranging between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 15,000 will only be paid to the selected candidate, based on the academic credentials and performance at the interview.Qualifications / Sskillsets / Candidate specificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - FRESHERS onlyAbility to read and understand designs and schematicsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workDiplomacy and tact to deal with departmental and inter-departmental colleaguesPossession of a 2-wheelerResidence within commuting distance of South Cjhittoor, Ernakulam DistrictImmediate availability to join the Training Programme
