About the role

We are seeking a Java Back-End Engineer to join our team at keeplearningOS. As a Java Back-End Engineer, you will be a key player in shaping the technical foundation of our products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality server-side applications. Your role will involve designing robust architectures, implementing efficient APIs, and ensuring that our systems are scalable and reliable. You will contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, playing an integral part in the growth and success of keeplearningOS.

Location

- Location: Electronic-City, Bangalore.

Detailed roles and responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance server-side applications using Java- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various web and mobile applications.- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software, ensuring optimal performance and security.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering- Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and implement optimizations and enhancements as needed.

The profile of an ideal candidate

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience (4+years) in software engineering, with a track record of building and delivering scalable, high quality software solutions- Strong proficiency in Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, etc.).- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- Entrepreneurial
