Healthcare IT Integration Associate Manager

who will participate in all aspects of the systems development life cycle related to the integration of leading healthcare IT applications. This work will include defining customer requirements, building interfaces, designing information flow, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. In addition, this role will support strategic IT projects such as system integrations, IT systems assessments, software selections, and roadmap development. The Integration Consultant will be part of a multi-disciplined project team and will work collaboratively with both fellow consulting and client team members.The

Healthcare IT Integration Associate Manager

will also have a basic understanding of the consulting cycle process within the healthcare industry. As a key contributor he/she will support the building of a world class healthcare practice through listening to client needs, proposal development and presentation of solutions.

Being a part of the RSM consulting culture will give you the opportunity to gain new skills, and give you the ability to cross train on multiple service areas to broaden your skillsets.Responsibilities:Implement leading packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate healthcare business and management processes, regulatory requirements, and other business needsDeploy innovative healthcare industry-specific solutionsDesign integration approach, and define and build interfaces between various healthcare systemsSupport the deployment of packaged software’s through data integration design, build, test, and deploymentDevelop and maintain system interfaces between various clinical, and revenue cycle systemsBuild, deploy, and maintain HL7 interfaces, to support back-end processes for financial and clinical applications and reportingWork with end-users and project teams to analyze and document data and workflow processes. Good data analysis, communication, troubleshooting and writing skills are required.Assess current state data flow and work with implementation team to validate proposed future state fits with overall project objectivesIdentify, assess and solve complex business integration problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsWork interactively with clients and client team members to configure, test and validate the software application environmentContribute to IT systems assessments, system integrations, software selection projects, and system optimization projects.Train client personnel on new process/systemsTravel as needed (5% - 10%)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Health Information Management, or similar programMinimum of three years' relevant experience with systems implementation projectsDirect experience with implementation of software in a healthcare settingExperience implementing HL7 data conversions and updating existing interfacesExtensive experience with Admissions Discharge Transfer workflows & messagesTechnical experience with HL7, FHIR, API, XML, CDA, CCD and other such transactional standardsEpic Bridges experience and Cerner integration experience is an added bonusExperience with 3M Encompass systems integration is an added bonusPrior consulting experienceYou want your next step to be the right one.
