For more information, visit .Our Data Analytics team enables Egnyte through building and managing analytics capabilities to uncover customer, sales, marketing, product, and operational insights and provide reliable data for analysis and data-driven decision support.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Report to the Data Analytics & Engineering organization, where you’ll manage data resources, report development, and automate dashboards for our business stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and EngineeringBe the lead subject matter expert about the data, tools, and modern analytical techniques leveraged to best answer business questions, provide recommendations, and support strategic initiativesWork with users to define business requirements for Tableau reports and dashboardsExplore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms from multiple data sourcesBuild highly optimized queries in Big Query to perform analysis, share business insights, present data trends, or understand data anomaliesDrive strategic business decision-making through detailed analytics, insights, and real-time reportingPartner with other data scientists, data / BI analysts, and product ownersCommunicate activities, plans, and progress of our analytical initiatives to business stakeholdersUnderstand our core business and the key success drivers of our customersDemonstrate data analysis experience and prior experience mining datato drive key business initiativesIdentify problems that can be solved by leveraging data scienceComfortable presenting technical findings and summarizing key insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, including senior managementPartner with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to support various data management, data quality, and data governance initiativesYOUR QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of relevant experience in a data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques, and technology3-5 years of Tableau development experience3-5 years of BigQuery experienceExcellent SQL and query-tuning skillsExperience working with dbt and semantic modelsKnowledge of SaaS business, KPIs, and metricsKnowledge of Salesforce is preferredAbility to learn quickly and execute tasks independentlyLead with an analytical mindset and respond quickly to requestsProficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint a mustStrong writing and presentation skills to summarize key insights for technical and non-technical audiencesCreative and analytical problem solver who is comfortable in a fast-paced environmentAbility to frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and dive deep into data analysis that arises with effective solutionsBENEFITS:Competitive salariesCompany equity depending on role and levelMedical insurance and healthcare benefits for you and your familyFully paid premiums for life insuranceFlexible hours and PTOMental wellness platform subscriptionGym reimbursement
