Job Title : SAP FICO CONSULTANT ( PARALLEL LEDGERS – US GAAP Reporting)

Location : Hyderabad

SKILLS: MUST HAVE US GAAP EXP


Job Summary

  • Must have worked in FICO implementation with Parallel Ledger Implementation for US GAAP in SAP ECC 6.0 SAP environment.
  • Experience as a SAP Consultant with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations with Parallel ledgers.
  • Hands on experience in the requirements gathering/ fit-gap, design/blueprinting and configuration/customization phase of SAP transformation programs.
  • Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the area of financial modules.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Team management and project management skills considered as an asset.


Education/Experience

Minimum 6-8 years in SAP FICO + Domain Experience 2 years.

CA/ICWA candidates are preferred but otherwise should be a Postgraduate as minimum educational qualification like MBA / M. Com etc.

SAP FICO Certified and must have worked in ECC 6.0 Implementation and support. SAP S/4HANA working will be added advantage.


Roles & Responsibilities

Integration between FICO and other core modules like MM/ SD / PP /PS.

Should have strong Domain experience in Finance.

Good Business process understanding.

Knowledge of SAP Best practice scope items.

Should be able to design and configure business scenarios, Testing, Test Scripts.

Solution focused - be able to provide solutions

Developing functional specifications for new developments / change requests

Analysing the issues and provide estimates

Development of functional specification documents for changes and enhancements.

Issue Resolution based on SLA

Co-ordinate with technical team to resolve the issues in the given objects

Must be a very good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Financial Accounting:

SAP ECC Working experience.

Worked on G/L Masters, parallel Ledgers, US GAAP accounting and Reports implementations.

Must have worked Bank Integration and Workflow

Must have worked in Multiple ledgers and Group consolidation Reporting.

Sound knowledge Fiscal year variant, Posting periods, Document types and number ranges

Must have worked in the Creation of Customer/Vendor Accounts Groups, Number Ranges and Customer/ Vendor Masters Creation

Familiar with Configuring Automatic Payment Program and Dunning for Vendors/Customers

Must have worked in Configuring Input/output Tax and Withholding Tax/VAT/GST

Must be worked in the Creation of Asset Classes, Asset Number Ranges, Account Determination and related settings, Acquisition, AUC and settlement.

Must have worked in configuration and setting up the Financial Statements.

Controlling / Management Accounting:

Must have worked in Controlling General Setting: Customizing and Configuration of Controlling Area, Number ranges and Versions

Good hands-on, Cost Element Accounting: Cost Element, Cost Element Groups, Primary, Secondary and Cost Element Categories

Cost Centre: Cost Center’s Design and Finalization, Cost Center’s Group, Distributions and Allocations

Internal Order: Internal Order Type, Settlement Profile

Profit Center Accounting: Activate Profit Center Accounting, Maintain Controlling Area settings for Profit center, Create Profit Center Group, Create Profit Center, Profit Center Standard Hierarchy

Working knowledge of Product Costing and COPA

Competency requirements

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines Performance Management.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and PPT.
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
  • Able to tolerate stress.
