Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cathlab Technician - Incharge to oversee and manage the operations of our Cathlab unit. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures, a strong leadership ability, and experience in handling cathlab equipment and team coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Cathlab
  • Assist in all Cathlab procedures including angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, etc.
  • Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of all cathlab equipment
  • Lead and supervise junior technicians
  • Coordinate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and administrative teams
  • Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
  • Maintain accurate procedural documentation and inventory
  • Train and evaluate new technicians

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma or BS.c Degree in Cardiac Technology / Cathlab Technician course (Preferred pass out from State Medical Faculty of West Bengal)
  • Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
