Responsibilities:Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses in an organization's systems and networksEvaluate, rate, and perform risk assessments on assetsPrioritizing vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timeline.Send and receive notifications to the SMEs of vulnerabilities within the environmentMaintain knowledge of the threat landscapeProvide reporting and analysis and follow upProvide vulnerability analysis and produce reports for managementDevelop and implement security policies and procedures to prevent cyber-attacksMonitor network traffic and identify potential security threatsInvestigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediationConduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilitiesStay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilitiesProvide training and guidance to other security professionals
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field3+ years of experience in vulnerability managementStrong understanding of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologiesFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning tools and reporting solutionExperience with risk assessment and prioritization techniqueExcellent communication and writing skillAbility to work independently and as part of a teaStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
