Role Description

This is a full-time Pavement Designer role at Vasuprada Consultants Private Limited located in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Pavement Designer, you will be responsible for designing pavement for various highway projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing new pavements (rigid, flexible, and semi-rigid) conducting pavement evaluations on existing pavements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Masters in Transportation, Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering from institutions such as IIT and NIT
  • Ability to manage pavement design process with minimal or no supervision
  • Strong knowledge of pavement design principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency in using pavement design software and tools
  • Experience in conducting pavement condition assessments
  • Ability to interpret and analyze design specifications and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design calculations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes
