ETL Developer - Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)


Job Summary :


We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer with expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to design, develop, and maintain robust Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for our data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, and data quality management, along with proven experience building functions and stored procedures using ODI.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Develop and maintain functions and stored procedures using ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
  • - Design and document data warehouse tables and associated technical specifications.
  • - Create and execute database table creation scripts in collaboration with the Database Administrator (DBA).
  • Analyze data sources to identify relationships and ensure alignment with business requirements documentation (BRD).
  • Address and resolve data quality issues, ensuring compliance with ETL processes.
  • Design and implement ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes to load data from source systems into staging and target data warehouse tables (fact and dimension tables) using ODI.
  • Validate data accuracy in various tables using SQL and other data analysis methods.
  • Leverage data governance tools and practices, including query and data profiling techniques, to ensure high data integrity.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis, including creating queries to measure and improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide documentation and training as required for new data models, processes, and workflows.
  • - Research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to ETL processes and data workflows.

  • Experience :
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development with a focus on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and manage data warehouse tables and associated documentation.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to validate and analyze data using queries.
  • Hands-on experience with ELT processes for loading data into staging and target tables.
  • - Familiarity with data governance tools, practices, and profiling techniques
  • - Expertise in data quality management and problem-solving techniques.
  • - Knowledge of ETL best practices and standards.
  • - Strong analytical, research, and problem-resolution skills.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
