*Job Title:* Purchase Manager - Interior Design
*Location:* Mumbai
*Key Responsibilities:*- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for materials needed for interior design projects.- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure the best possible deals.- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of materials.- Collaborate with interior designers to understand project requirements and timelines.- Conduct market research to identify new trends and materials in the design industry.- Manage budgeting and cost control for purchasing activities.- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.- Coordinate with finance to ensure timely payment for purchases.- Stay updated on industry developments and innovations in materials and procurement strategies.- Prepare purchasing reports and forecasts for management review.
*Qualifications:*- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or related field.- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the interior design industry.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.- A keen eye for detail and a good understanding of design materials.- Ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
