About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager from the Logistics industry with strong expertise in Full Truck Load (FTL) services. The role involves driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and strengthening market presence through strategic sales initiatives in the transportation & logistics sector.
Responsibilities
- Generate New Business for FTL Transportation Services within the Logistics Industry.
- Identify, target, and onboard shippers, manufacturers, and large corporates.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients.
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams for seamless service delivery.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for management.
Qualifications:
- Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Logistics preferred.
- 10-15 years' Sales experience in the Logistics / Transportation industry (Mandatory).
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Logistics & Supply Chain, with focus on FTL operations.
- Proven track record in B2B logistics sales (FTL, trucking, transportation solutions).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing large corporate accounts.
- Knowledge of market trends in the logistics sector.
