Role & responsibilities

Quality Planning & Documentation

Develop and maintain project-specific QA/QC documentation including: Quality manuals

Method statements

Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

Final project dossiers

Inspection requests

Request for information

Material Quality Control

Review technical data sheets and ensure compliance with specifications.

Conduct material inspections and coordinate testing with certified labs.

Monitor storage and handling of construction materials.

Construction Quality Assurance

Conduct daily inspections of construction activities.

Ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and standards (e.g., IRC, IS codes).

Coordinate third-party testing and audits.

Compliance & Risk Management

Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for CARs/NCRs.

Support internal and external audits.

Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and consultants for quality-related matters.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to QA/QC plans.

Prepare weekly/monthly quality reports for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience:

510 years in QA/QC roles within infrastructure projects, preferably bridges, highways, or metro.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)

Familiarity with construction material testing (cement, steel, concrete, aggregates)

Knowledge of quality management software and inspection tools
