Qualification - Diploma / B. Tech / Degree in Electrical.
Well-versed with AutoCAD/Revit.
Total Experience- 5-9 Years.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the drafting and preparation of electrical drawings based on inputs from the designer and following the standards.
2. Preparing Earthing layout, Lightning protection layout, Lighting layout, Power layout, slab containment layouts, cable tray routing layout, busbar routing layout, Electrical room layouts, Single line diagram, Panel layouts, etc.
3. Preparing load schedules, Voltage Drop Calculations, Cable schedules, etc.
4. Initiating the Kick-off meeting with customers for project discussion and coordination.
5. Hands-on experience in developing electrical System Design drawings and Electrical single line diagrams using tools like AutoCAD.
This job also involves the following aspects –
1. Ability to independently communicate with Clients in written and spoken English.
2. Ability to independently create electrical design drawings based on client instructions and standards.
3. Ability to understand the architecture drawing and decide the effective routing of conduit and cables in the plan.
4. Ability to understand the complete MEP system.
5. Ability to understand other mechanical services for coordination and power requirements.
6. Ability to get trained and work on newer Design Software.
7. Ability to visit the client's office if required for detailed training and one-to-one sessions.
Key Skills Required : The following statements define the experience that is needed to apply for this position.
1. Knowledge of electrical system design, standards, and calculations.
2. Experience in electrical design for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
3. Very good knowledge of AutoCAD software for preparing Design layouts.
4. Knowledge of Auto CAD Electrical is an added advantage.
5. Experience in using MS Office.
6. Good spoken and written English communication skills.
