Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Node.js Developer (Fresher) who is eager to learn and grow in the field of backend development. As a Node.js Developer, you will work with a team of experienced developers to build scalable and high-performance web applications and APIs. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in JavaScript and an interest in learning backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of web applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js .
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement backend logic and functionality.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in database design and integration (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in Node.js applications.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development.
  • Assist with testing and deploying applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Technical Skills :
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript and basic understanding of ES6 features.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and its core modules.
  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST, HTTP, JSON).
  • Exposure to Databases (SQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git ).
  • Personal Attributes :
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Nice to Have :
  • Experience or familiarity with web frameworks like Express.js . React.js
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and callback functions .
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Exposure to unit testing or TDD (Test-Driven Development) .
