About Us: Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our door manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with a focus on ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency.
Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to forecast production needs and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer specifications.
Conduct regular inspections of production processes and products to identify areas for improvement.
Resource Management:
Manage and allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet production targets.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production goals and maintain high levels of productivity.
Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Implement measures to minimize workplace accidents and incidents.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize production processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to doors or similar products.
Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.
